IQVIA Italia seeks a Field Service Engineer to ensure optimal performance of medical devices, visiting customers and delivering high-quality technical service. Based in Florence, you will build strong customer relationships and support growth initiatives across Tuscany and beyond.

The role requires 4–6 years in radiology service maintenance, a biomedical/engineering degree, and willingness to travel extensively. Excellent English skills preferred, with a focus on autonomy and reliability.

On behalf of Bayer, a global company with core competencies in health care and agriculture, IQVIA is looking for a Field Service Engineer -based in Florence- to join an exciting working environment in a dynamic and international atmosphere.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal performance of systems and devices, building strong relationships with customers, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality technical service.

Location: Tuscany; preferred residence: Florence area.

MAIN TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle service requests ensuring planning, organization, and execution of direct customer support services, promptly visiting customers, analyzing technical problems, and identifying the most appropriate solution
• Prepare servicequotes in accordance with company procedures, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving the profitability goals of the division
• Promote technical maintenance contracts, customizing the offer based on the customer's needs
• Ensure the inventory is up to date and manage the direct handling of tools
• Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities through the analysis of customer needs and collaboration with sales and marketing teams
• Establish effective relationships with customers to meet their needs, ensuring a positive outcome in terms of customer satisfaction and product image
• Support the KAM in performing competitive intelligence analysis and identifying sales opportunities for injection systems and disposables
• Responsible for carrying out administrative tasks to ensure the company's quality and safety standards as outlined by the policies

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Biomedical/Electronic/Informatic Engineering or equivalent
• 4-6 years of experience in Radiology service maintenance
• Customer oriented approach
• Good organizational skills and ability to be autonomous in working schedules and priority definition
• High flexibility and collaborative approach
• Residence/domicile in Florence-Tuscany
• Full availability to travel in Tuscany and throughout all the Italy territory
• Good knowledge of English (especially written) is a preferred requirement

TYPE OF CONTRACT

National Collective Labour Agreement: Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry; Contract Type: Staff Leasing with IQVIA; SalaryRange orGross Annual Salary: The initial annual gross compensate role is not below 41.369,73€ RAL. This position will also provide for a variable remuneration, awarded in accordance with the achievement of objectives and based on performance and in any case in compliance with objective and gender-neutral criteria. The salary range is defined based on experience, skills, and internal equity criteria. Career progression and compensation review are based on transparent, objective criteria. We are committed to fair and equal pay practices, in line with applicable pay transparency regulations (EU Directive 2023/970). IQVIA reserves the right to evaluate candidates with domicile / residence and work experience / study with requirements responding to the open request.
