Edwards, part of the Atlas Copco Group, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Europe General Vacuum Customer Center. Based near Piemonte and prepared to travel across Italy, you will deliver on-site service to keep vacuum equipment running and maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installations and demonstrations. You will build strong customer relationships, identify on-site opportunities, generate sales leads, and report activity via

Competenze

• Vocational training in mechanical or maintenance engineering is required.
• Electrical engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial equipment maintenance, ideally with vacuum pumps.

Join Us - Field Service Engineer (Vacuum Technique Service)

At Edwards, part of the Atlas Copco Group, we’re looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our Europe General Vacuum Customer Center, to help drive the growth of our Vacuum Technique Service program by ensuring our customers receive outstanding support every time. You will be based close to the Piemonte region (Piemonte (Torino - Novara - Asti) , and willing to travel to customer sites across the region.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of customer satisfaction—providing timely, hands-on service that keeps equipment running smoothly and efficiently. Whether it's troubleshooting, repairs, installations, or technical demonstrations, your expertise will help minimize downtime, reduce costs, and showcase the full potential of our products.

Key responsibilities:

To succeed, you will need

Qualifications & Experience

• Vocational training in mechanical or maintenance engineering (required); electrical engineering (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial equipment maintenance, ideally with vacuum pumps

Technical Knowledge

• Strong mechanical and electrical expertise
• Keen interest in staying current with technical advancements
• Background in industrial service roles

Job classification and collective labor agreement (CCNL): Metalmeccanico, LevelC2. Starting salary within the relevant salary range from EUR 27,300 gross per year. The actual salary offered will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, internal pay equity, level of responsibility, and the experience and skills of the selected candidate.
