Bright Renewables is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our growing team in Italy. You will work on advanced biogas upgrading systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and support customers to keep installations running safely and efficiently.

This role offers 32 or 40 hours per week, travel, on-call rotation, and ongoing technical training within an international company expanding across Europe.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work independently in technically challenging environments.
• Experience in industrial installations or energy systems is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose problems and apply practical solutions.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on renewable energy installations.
• Commission and start up new installations, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues.
• Carry out FAT and SAT tests on equipment and systems.
• Provide technical support to customers during plant operation and optimization.
• Supervise subcontractors during installation and commissioning activities.
• Participate in a rotating on-call service schedule.

Your Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring that our renewable energy installations operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

You will work directly with our installations, identify and solve technical challenges, and support customers in keeping their systems running at optimal performance.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on renewable energy installations.

• Commission and start up new installations, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process‑related issues.

• Carry out Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

• Provide technical support to customers during plant operation and optimization.

• Supervise subcontractors during installation and commissioning activities.

• Participate in a rotating on‑call service schedule.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a practical, technically skilled professional who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and being on‑site.

• A technical diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

• Experience working with industrial installations, utilities, energy systems, oil & gas, water treatment, or similar technical environments.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• A hands‑on mindset and a proactive approach to technical challenges.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• An English‑language CV when applying.
