Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Engineer - HVAC to support and optimize building systems across HVAC, security, and building-automation environments. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and configure software and hardware for service deliveries and acceptance.

This role requires strong collaboration with IT, networking, and cross-functional teams. On-site work in Italy (Pavia, Lombardy) and involvement in both temporary and final acceptance of service jobs, with opportunities

Competenze

• Technical diploma or professional qualification in HVAC, security, controls, or IoT.
• Hands-on experience servicing HVAC systems and related fire/security/access systems.
• Strong reading of electrical diagrams and understanding of switching.
• Fluent English and customer-facing professionalism.

In this role you will support building performance through HVAC, security, and building-automation systems, leveraging connected services and data analytics. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and configure software and hardware to ensure smooth service installations and acceptance. You’ll work across IT, networking, and building-control environments, contributing to occupant comfort, energy optimization, and asset performance. This position offers hands-on technical scope and cross-team collaboration within Honeywell’s automation ecosystem.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across HVAC, security, and building-automation environments
• Configure software and hardware for service deliveries and ensure smooth installation and final acceptance
• Prepare engineering drawings and project specifications for service jobs (SLJs)
• Determine equipment and accessory needs and coordinate with FSL/FSS
• Install EBI, develop graphics, and perform required programming
• Demonstrate deep competence in both virtual and physical environments (hardware/software)
• Be on-site for temporary or final acceptance of Service Jobs and collaborate with local and international teams
• Identify opportunities for evolutionary initiatives, evaluating applicability and cost
• Understand HVAC and security field processes to manage analytics related to the role
• Technical diploma or professional qualification in engineering or a related field (HVAC, Security, Controls, IoT)
• Hands-on experience servicing HVAC systems (plus Fire, Security, Access, or Alarm systems)
• Strong understanding of HVAC processes, building-automation controls, and standard protocols
• Knowledge of ICT, networking, IoT, and cybersecurity fundamentals
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and understand switching
