Job summary

Viva.com in Lombardia, Italy, seeks a field-based Business Development Representative to promote fintech services to merchants and onboard new clients while supporting active accounts across Europe.

The role requires 2+ years in business development within financial services, sharp negotiation skills, CRM experience, and fluency in English and Italian. It offers a permanent EOR contract, a performance bonus, and a dynamic, international fintech team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in business development in fast-paced financial services or payments.
• Knowledge of financial products and their advantages.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Excellent negotiation abilities.
• Strong organizational and diary management skills.
• Resilience and ability to handle objections.
• Ability to manage a diverse client base.
• Computer literacy and a tech mindset.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Promote the company services by visiting clients' premises.
• Assist merchants with verification and activation processes.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance.
• Provide in-person support and consultation for existing customers.
• Engage in both system-scheduled and self-initiated activities.
• Ensure new merchants in the assigned portfolio complete registration.
• Support existing merchants in maintaining active usage.
• Escalate issues by opening cases for problems beyond their resolution scope.
• Present product features and benefits to clients in a compelling manner.
• Travel to meet clients and attend industry events
