Job summary

Quetzal Therapeutics is seeking a contractor Medical Science Liaison to cover Italy and Germany. The role focuses on scientific engagement with investigators, trial awareness, and compliant exchange within a Phase 3 haematology/oncology program.

Frequent travel across Italy and Germany is required, with approximately 70–80% field activity. The candidate should hold an advanced healthcare degree, have prior MSL experience in oncology/haematology, and communicate complex data clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or healthcare degree required.
• Field-based MSL experience in oncology or haematology preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills essential.
• Ability to work independently across a multi-site territory.
• Experience engaging with investigators and healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of GCP, pharmacovigilance, and compliance frameworks.
• Fluent English; Italian language proficiency desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with investigators and healthcare professionals.
• Support scientific engagement around a Phase 3 haematology clinical trial.
• Deliver compliant, non-promotional scientific exchange.
• Support trial awareness and operational engagement in the territory.
• Identify field insights and investigator feedback.
• Support congress activities and investigator meetings as required.
• Document activities and report adverse events per pharmacovigilance requirements.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and other teams.
