Teradyne Robotics in Torino, Italy seeks a Field Applications Engineer to support partners, customers, and the sales team through application analysis and feasibility assessments. You will develop technical concepts and assist during implementation, leveraging Teradyne Robotics technology to enable customer success.

The role requires a technical background in automation, mechatronics or robotics, 3+ years of robotics experience, native Italian, business-level English, and willingness to travel.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial robots, automated applications or systems integration.
• Italian language - native level.
• English - business level (B2+/C1).
• Ability to work independently and plan activities in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel for business up to 50% of the time, mainly domestically, with occasional international trips.

• Participation in technical visits (Line Walks) and preparation of application feasibility studies (Proof of Concept).
• Creating and presenting concepts for Teradyne robotics robot-based solutions.

Key responsibilities: As our Application Engineer in Italy you will provide support to partners, end customers, and the sales team in Italy through application analysis, the development of technical concepts, feasibility assessments, and support during implementation utilizing Teradyne Robotics. This role combines technical expertise with interpersonal skills, engaging with stakeholders in the field, within the team, and across the partner network. Pre- and post-sales support to partners and customers in the region

Qualifications and experience: You hold a technical education in automation, mechatronics, robotics or related. In addition, you have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with industrial robots, automated applications or systems integration
• Italian language - at native level
• English - at business level (B2+/C1)
• Ability to work independently and plan activities in a dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel for business up to 50% of the time, mainly domestically, with occasional international trips travel.
• Additional advantages will be:
  • experience coordinating technical initiatives, projects or teams - we value individuals who can inspire others and have a strong sense of ownership,
  • Understanding of the role of technical support in business development - experience working close to sales or with channel partners is welcome.

Preferred location for this job isTorino - where our office is also located - providing convenient access to key customers and partners in Italy.

To ensure a smooth onboarding process, we are primarily seeking candidates who are already based in the region or have independent authorization to work in the respective country, as relocation support is not available for this role.

Position Livello Impiegato - Salary range: Euro 33,400 - 43,400 (bonus incl) following experience and profile. The package also includes a company car.
