FRANCESCA COTTONE, an independent Italian fashion brand based in Fabriano, seeks a Fashion Design Assistant to support the development of collections from concept to final product. The role requires close collaboration with the designer across the creative and production process.

The candidate will assist with research, moodboards, fabric and material selection, technical development, fittings, samples and communication with suppliers and manufacturers.

Competenze

• Experience or studies in Fashion Design or related field.
• Strong interest in fashion and contemporary design.
• Excellent knowledge of fabrics, garments and production processes.

FRANCESCA COTTONE is an independent Italian fashion brand focused on contemporary tailoring, distinctive silhouettes and high-quality craftsmanship. All pieces are proudly Made in Italy, combining traditional craftsmanship with a modern, international aesthetic. We are looking for a Fashion Design Assistant to join our creative team in Fabriano and support the development of collections from concept to final product.

The ideal candidate will assist with research, moodboards, fabric and material selection, technical development, fittings, samples and communication with suppliers and manufacturers. The role involves working closely with the designer throughout the entire creative and production process.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the designer in developing new collections and seasonal concepts
• Conduct research on trends, fabrics, colors and silhouettes
• Create moodboards and support the development of design concepts
• Support day-to-day creative and organizational activities of the design team

Requirements

• Previous experience or studies in Fashion Design, Fashion Management or a related field
• Strong interest in fashion and contemporary design
• Good knowledge of fabrics, garments and production processes
• Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Experience with Canva and other creative design tools is appreciated
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Fluent Italian and good English
