Job summary

Sheraton Milan San Siro is seeking a Facilities Engineering Leader to support the Chief Engineer in daily operations of the Engineering department in Milan. You will oversee maintenance, safety, asset protection, and energy programs, while coordinating budgets and external contractors to ensure smooth, compliant operations.

Fluent English is required; experience in HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing, and building systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years in engineering and maintenance, or relevant technical training.
• 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major with 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees physical plant including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with facility regulations and safety standards.
• Develops long-term preventive maintenance plans and asset protection strategies.
• Coordinates service contracts and supervises contractors for timely completion within budget.
• Distributes preventive maintenance and repair work orders and monitors timeliness and quality of completion.
• Maintains guest areas, public spaces, and property grounds to meet standards.
