CAE is seeking a Facilities professional in Lombardy, Italy to act as the primary point of contact for facility issues, coordinate maintenance and renovations, and ensure a safe, efficient workspace for employees and visitors. You will liaise with contractors, landlords, and internal teams, maintaining accurate records and supporting HSE programs.

• Act as the main contact for facility-related issues and requests
• Coordinate and monitor maintenance, repairs, and facility operations to ensure smooth daily functioning, with HVAC as the main focus
• Liaise with external contractors, vendors and internal teams to manage services such as cleaning and technical maintenance
• Liaise with landlord to monitor contract requirements
• Support facility projects such as renovations, space planning, and office moves
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to maintenance, compliance, and operations
• Promote a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors
• Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities, insurance and safety departments when required
• Identify, report, and follow up on facility issues, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating timely resolutions
• Perform periodic reviews of facility-related activities with the Facilities Coordinator for alignment and continuous improvement
• Assist with the implementation of CAE’s HSE strategies, programs, policies, procedures, and processes
• Liaise with the delegated RSPP to monitor Occupational risk requirements
• Provide recommendations to improve EH&S performance
• Assist site/operations in safe working programs and practices to reduce accidents
• Assist in accident reporting and investigations
• Monitor contractors/sub-contractors on site and control high-risk activities to prevent incidents
• Ensure contractors meet EH&S legal requirements
• Assist in setting up and tracking Safety & Environmental training requirements as per CAE standards
• Prepare all necessary documentation to complete work activities
• Oracle Entry; I-Proc: ordering department supplies
• Special Project Support
• Core working hours 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri with 1 hour lunch time

Responsibilities:

Facilities

Under the supervision of the Facilities coordinator:

• Act as the main point of contact for all facility-related issues & requests

• Coordinate andmonitormaintenance, repairs, & facility operations to ensure smooth daily functioning of the building, being HVAC system themain focus.

• Liaise with external contractors, vendors & internal teams tomanage services such as cleaning & technical maintenance according to the agreement and Scope of Work.

• Liaise with landlord tomonitorall the requirements as per contract.

• Support facility projects such as renovations, space planning, and office moves

• Maintainaccuraterecords, reports, and documentation related to maintenance, compliance, and operations

• Promote a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors.

• Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities, insuranceand safety departments whenrequired.

Health & Safety

Under the supervision of theEnvironment, Health & safetycoordinator:

• General supervision, responsible forassistingwith the implementation of CAE’s global HSE strategies,programs,policies, procedures, and processes.

• Liaise with the delegated RSPP tomonitorall the Occupational risk prevention requirements as per contract.

• Provides recommendations to EHS coordinator tofacilitatecontinuous EH&S performance improvement.

• Assistingspecific site/operations safe working programs and practices intended to improve the knowledge, skill and responsibilities that will have a direct effect on reducing accidents or incidents

• Assistingactively in the implementation of such programs/procedures following H&S coordinator guidance;

• Assisting EHS coordinator and the site/operations manager in accident reporting & investigations.

• Assistingactively in the monitoring of contractors/sub-contractors on site/operations and the control of the high-risk activities to prevent severe injury and damage to site/operations or equipment;

• Ensuring that all contractors/sub-contractors are approved and meet the necessary EH&S legal requirements.

• Assistingon the set up and track Safety & Environmental training requirements that are specifically related to H&S training programs as per legal expectations and CAE H&S standards;

• Prepares all necessary documentation to complete work activities

• Oracle Entry; I-Proc: Ordering department specific supplies.
