Job summary
EssilorLuxottica is seeking a talented Concept Designer to join our innovation team in Italy. You will collaborate with the Design Studio and R&D to develop future-forward eyewear concepts for house and licensed luxury brands.
You will translate ideas into 2D and 3D sketches, support early development from trend analysis to prototyping, and present concepts to brand teams. Proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, Blender, Creo, KeyShot, and Illustrator, plus a strong English portfolio, are essential.
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Design or Design Engineering required.
- Strong sketching and visualization skills (2D–3D Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Blender, Creo, KeyShot, Illustrator).
- Fluency in English and a portfolio demonstrating curiosity and product storytelling.
- Hands-on design processes, experimentation, and prototyping to validate new technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Translate ideas into compelling 2D and 3D sketches and product concept presentations.
- Collaborate across R&D, Proto Dept, Tec DEPT, Design Studio, Brand Teams to explore innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the early stages of product development, from trend analysis to prototyping.
