Job summary

DXC Technology in Rome is seeking an Expert Business Analyst to join the Custom Application Offering. You will take end-to-end ownership of business analysis for Public Sector clients, from requirements definition to validation of implemented solutions.

You will lead client interviews, design as-is and to-be processes, mentor junior team members, and help shape proposals and presentations. The role requires strong communication, autonomy, and a data-driven approach, with a hybrid work model in

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical or business discipline.
• Proven experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally within the Public Sector field.
• Advanced expertise in business process analysis, functional requirements definition and business solution design.
• Ability to guide and mentor team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different technical and business levels.
• Operational autonomy and ability to manage priorities across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as direct interface with internal stakeholders and clients for requirements gathering, solution validation and monitoring of alignment with business needs.
• Effectively manage client's expectations.
• Contribute to the definition and optimization of processes and procedures within the business analysis function.
• Contribute to the hiring process through interviews assessing analytical and functional skills.

• Guide and support junior/mid team members on analysis and requirements-gathering activities
• Contribute to shaping, preparing, and delivering client presentations, workshops and proposals
• Guide team members in producing functional requirements for software development
• Identify and manage changes to requirements and identify risks for the company's clients

We Require

Work Location: Rome, with Smart Working possibility.

Offer Package

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €36,000.

Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
