Euronext is seeking an ESG Data Analyst (V.I.E.) based in Lisbon to support the ESG Data Team in rolling out supplier engagement, CSRD reporting, and carbon footprint analysis across geographies.

The role requires strong Excel, data handling skills, and proficiency in English, with additional tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Python considered a plus. This is a dynamic, European role focused on sustainability and reporting excellence.

Competenze

• Degree in finance, sustainability, supply chain or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with greenhouse gas accounting, CSRD or EU Taxonomy reporting.
• Working knowledge of Excel and handling large, multi-source datasets.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for an ESG Data Analyst (V.I.E.) to join the ESG Data Team. The position will be based in Lisbon, Portugal, and start since December 2026. You will report to the ESG Data Manager.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• Supporting the roll-out of Euronext’s supplier engagement plan against its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) target
• Tracking supplier progress on emissions disclosure and target-setting, maintaining the supplier data tracker
• Engaging procurement and category managers to embed ESG criteria into supplier onboarding and evaluation
• Contributing to the CSRD reporting cycle, including coordination with external auditors
• Collecting and calculating carbon footprint data
• Supporting EU Taxonomy eligibility and alignment assessments (CapEx, OpEx, turnover KPIs)

Your profile:

• Degree in finance, sustainability, supply chain or procurement, environmental science, business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, CSRD or EU Taxonomy reporting
• Working knowledge of Excel and comfort handling large, multi-source datasets
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
• Analytical rigour and attention to detail
• Clear communicator, able to work across teams and with external counterparties
• Previous experience in sustainable procurement or ESG is a strong plus
• Experience with data tools beyond Excel (Power BI, SQL, Python or similar) is a plus
• Additional European languages are a plus

The ESG Data Team is responsible for Euronext’s ESG data and turning it into reliable, reportable information. Its main output is the group’s regulatory and public reporting — CSRD, which brings together topics such as EU Taxonomy reporting and carbon footprint accounting, alongside Euronext’s other public ESG disclosures. The team also supports delivery of the group’s climate targets and drives Euronext’s sustainable procurement agenda behind the supplier engagement target. This work is transversal, spanning business units, Procurement, Finance, suppliers and external auditors across the group’s geographies and functions.
