The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking an experienced registered nurse for an emergency services PRN role. Eligible to participate in the State Retirement Program, this position offers hourly pay and an 8-hour scheduled weekly shift.

Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care, supervising teammates, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs. Active SC RN licensure and BLS certification are required.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; one year of RN experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure by SC Board of Nursing or compact state.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for age-appropriate care.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment and protect patient privacy.
