Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a registered nurse for full-time, 36 hours per week in the Emergency Department. You will deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process, lead team members, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to meet age-appropriate needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Current RN license in SC or a compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of nursing work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Lead other team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to provide age-appropriate care.
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural needs.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment and uphold privacy and professionalism.
• Participate in shared governance and maintain standards of care and accountability.
• Coordinate care delivery to improve patient outcomes.
