Job summary

Baker Hughes Italy is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist - Equipment Maintenance to support maintenance activities on working machines and plant fixtures. You will analyze malfunctions, implement corrective actions, and work with engineering and production teams to keep operations running.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in manufacturing/maintenance, experience reading P&ID and electrical diagrams, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years in Manufacturing/Maintenance.
• Experience leading a small team is preferred.
• Ability to read P&ID, hydraulic schematics, electrical wiring diagrams to identify faults.
• Proficient with digital systems such as ERPs or warehouse management software.
• Strong emphasis on Health and Safety and a passion for mechanics/electronics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation of new machines as part of Plant & Equipment development, managing contractors/vendors and ensuring safety requirements.
• Maintain and optimize maintenance plans for new assets per OEM recommendations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and support procurement.
• Analyze malfunctions and propose corrective actions; implement them.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to handle emergencies and repairs.
• Understand PLC logic and support equipment troubleshooting.
