Mercury is seeking an Environmental Engineer for the Milan project. You will act as the focal point for environmental and sustainability issues, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective risk management across the site.

You will develop and maintain environmental management systems, liaise with authorities, and supervise environmental consultants. Fluency in English and strong collaboration skills are essential.

Competenze

• Degree in engineering, sciences or related discipline; masters preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental-HSE topics.
• Construction operations experience highly desirable.
• Fluent in English and local project language.

Mansioni

• Manage and monitor compliance with environmental approvals, licences and permits.
• Input into risk identification and management within projects.
• Develop and manage environmental management systems for projects.
• Maintain comprehensive environmental records and reports.
• Coordinate with government bodies and professional organisations.
• Lead and supervise environmental consultants and field monitoring.
• Oversee LEED-related processes and documentation where applicable.
• Provide environmental training for project personnel.
