Job summary

Luigi Lavazza SPA is seeking an Environmental Impact Intern to join the Sustainability team at Nuvola, the HQ in Turin. You will support Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies, environmental footprinting and projects across products, packaging and supply chains, working with cross-functional teams to drive improvements.

The role requires a Master’s degree (or final year) in a relevant technical field, fluency in Italian and English, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative mindset is essential.
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Support Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies and environmental footprinting for products, packaging, machines and supply chains.
  • Collect, analyse and validate environmental data for quantitative assessments.
  • Monitor environmental KPIs and assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, R&D, Operations and Sustainability to drive environmental improvements.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on sustainability methodologies and regulations.

Job description

We are the Lavazza HR Talent Acquisition Team and we’re looking for an Environmental Impact Intern.

You’ll join our Sustainability team at Nuvola, our HQ in Turin, where you'll support initiatives aimed at measuring, monitoring and reducing the environmental impact of our products and value chain. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll contribute to projects focused on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), environmental footprinting and sustainability performance improvement.

  • Support the development of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies and environmental footprinting activities across coffee products, packaging solutions, coffee machines and supply chains.
  • Collect, analyse and validate environmental data, contributing to quantitative assessments and sustainability projects that support business decision-making.
  • Monitor environmental KPIs and support the preparation of reports, presentations and project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, R&D, Operations and Sustainability, to drive environmental improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on sustainability methodologies, industry best practices and emerging environmental regulations.
  • You’re available for a 6-month full-time internship. Starting date: November 2026
  • You’re fluent in Italian and English
  • You have a Master’s degree (or you’re in your final year) in Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar technical/scientific disciplines.
  • You have a strong analytical and quantitative mindset.
  • You have good data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • You have advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of LCA software (e.g. SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA) and data visualization tools is considered a plus.
  • You are curious, proactive, detail-oriented and passionate about sustainability and environmental innovation.
