Job summary

Luigi Lavazza S.p.A. is seeking an Environmental Impact Intern to support Life Cycle Assessment and environmental footprinting initiatives at Nuvola HQ in Turin. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to measure and reduce environmental impact across products and the value chain.

Qualifications

• 6-month full-time internship.
• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or in final year.
• Strong analytical and quantitative mindset.
• Good data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of LCA software (SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support LCA studies and environmental footprinting across products, packaging, machines and supply chains.
• Collect, analyze and validate environmental data for quantitative assessments.
• Monitor environmental KPIs and assist with reports and project documentation.

Environmental Impact Intern

We are the Lavazza HR Talent Acquisition Team and we’re looking for an Environmental Impact Intern .

You’ll join our Sustainability team at Nuvola, our HQ in Turin , where you'll support initiatives aimed at measuring, monitoring and reducing the environmental impact of our products and value chain. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll contribute to projects focused on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), environmental footprinting and sustainability performance improvement.

Your day-to-day activities

• Support the development of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies and environmental footprinting activities across coffee products, packaging solutions, coffee machines and supply chains.
• Collect, analyse and validate environmental data, contributing to quantitative assessments and sustainability projects that support business decision-making.
• Monitor environmental KPIs and support the preparation of reports, presentations and project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, R&D, Operations and Sustainability, to drive environmental improvement initiatives.
• Conduct research and benchmarking on sustainability methodologies, industry best practices and emerging environmental regulations.

Who We’re Looking For

• You’re available for a 6-month full-time internship. Starting date: November 2026
• You’re fluent in Italian and English
• You have a Master’s degree (or you’re in your final year) in Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar technical/scientific disciplines.
• You have a strong analytical and quantitative mindset.
• You have good data analysis and interpretation skills.
• You have advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of LCA software (e.g. SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA) and data visualization tools is considered a plus.
• You are curious, proactive, detail-oriented and passionate about sustainability and environmental innovation.
