Vertiv Group Corporation in Piove di Sacco, Italy, is seeking an EHS Specialist Junior to support safety and environmental activities at Tognana and other Italian sites, ensuring compliance with local laws and internal standards.

You will perform risk analyses, write EHS procedures, maintain training records, assist in audits, and support incident investigations, partnering with Operations and Industrial Engineering to drive continuous safety improvements.

Competenze

• Technical Diploma or University Degree in Safety/Environmental disciplines.
• At least 1 year experience in similar positions.
• English language intermediate skills and knowledge of national Safety & Environment laws, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with Tognana RSPP in risk analysis and evaluation for the Tognana plant, preparing EHS procedures and instructions.
• Collaborate in writing Safety Committee reports.
• Enter data into safety databases like SEQAM, SAM, INCIDENTI and other tools.
• Track EHS corrective/preventive/improvement actions and update status in the database.
• Assist in performing/writing EHS internal audits.
• Handle Safety & Environmental inspections to verify implementation status.
• Maintain and organize safety training databases; coordinate internal and external training.
• Assist in analyzing accidents and near-misses.
• Record and prepare documentation for Safety and Environment per law and internal requirements.
• Monitor and report Safety and Environmental performances and statistics.

We are currently seeking a EHS Specialist Junior to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!

The position, based in Tognana, supports the EHS activities in Tognana and in the other Italian locations, based on country needs, in order to have all related activities managed according to laws and local rules.

What kind of work will you be doing?

• Collaborate with Tognana RSPP at the analysis and evaluation of risks of Tognana plant, preparing EHS Procedures and Instructions.


• Collaborate in writing Safety Committee reports.


• Makes data entry into safety databases: SEQAM, SAM, INCIDENTI tools, others .


• Tracks EHS corrective/Preventive/Improvement action providing information about status of completion and updating database.


• Collaborate in doing/writing EHS internal audits.


• Handle Safety & Environmental Inspections in order to verify the status of implementation of activities.


• Maintain training database up to date, plan and organize safety training involving internal and also external resources where needed.


• Collaborate in making analysis of accidents and near-miss.


• Collaborate in recording and filling-in documentation for Safety and Environment, according to the law and to internal requirements.


• Collaborate at the control, monitoring and reporting of Safety and Environmental performances.


• Cooperate at maintaining Safety and Environmental Statistics, issuing reports as required

What will make you successful?

• Technical Diploma or University Degree in Safety/Environmental disciplines.


• Preferable at least 1 year experience in similar positions.


• English Language intermediate skills.


• Knowledge of national laws concerning Safety & Environment, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.

The anticipated salary range for this role in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy is between 38.000€ to 48.000€ gross per year (based on a full-time working week). Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the recruitment process in accordance with local legal requirements. Compensationis determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.
