A global executive search firm is seeking a high-impact leader for the EHS role in Rome. You will drive Environmental, Health & Safety excellence in a complex industrial environment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and possesses 4-5 years of relevant experience. Strong communication and influencing skills are crucial to engage employees and foster a robust safety culture. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership, focusing on sustainability and compliance.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving Environmental, Health & Safety excellence across a complex industrial plant. He / She will be a member of the plant leadership team, acting as a key partner to the Plant Leader and the Regional EHS organization.
Bachelor’s degree in EHS, industrial hygiene, engineering, or science
4–5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Strong experience with ISO systems and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated ability to engage employees and build safety culture
Proven experience in risk reduction projects and action plan execution
Experience in multinational environments is an advantage
At least 2-3 years’ experience in EHS leader role
Experience in implementing training programs and SIF programs.
High ethical standards and integrity
Strong understanding of EHS law, sustainability, and industrial hygiene
Self-starter with the ability to lead change and drive improvements
Passion for coaching, collaboration, and team engagement
Strong communication and influencing skills
