Job summary

Plane seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to lead technical architecture for enterprise and regulated deployments. You will design self-hosted and air-gapped deployments, perform rigorous security reviews, and work with sales and engineering to tailor solutions to customer needs.

You will translate compliance requirements into concrete deployment decisions, defend architectures on calls, and author documentation that customers can follow in real environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience defending technical architectures to skeptical buyers.
• Experience with self-hosted/on-prem deployments including networking and SSO.
• Ability to translate security/compliance requirements into deployment decisions.
• Comfortable being the technical voice on sales calls and writing actionable docs.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for enterprise and regulated deployments from discovery to signed SOW.
• Design self-hosted and air-gapped deployments meeting customer security reviews.
• Conduct technical discovery with customers and provide trusted, data-driven guidance.
• Define migration paths when consolidating tools, addressing data survivability.
• Collaborate daily with sales on live deals and with engineering to close gaps.
• Respond to security questionnaires in structured, repeatable formats.
