Baker Hughes Company is hiring in Modugno, Italy for an Engineering Professional - Mechanical Component to work on pumps. You will collaborate with scientists and engineers to redesign flange-to-flange BH pumps, introduce new hydraulics, and help expand the pump portfolio.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, proficiency with Unigraphics NX and ANSYS, familiarity with HYSYS, and fluency in Italian and English.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient with CAD/FEA tools: Unigraphics NX, ANSYS; knowledge of HYSYS is a plus.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

• Perform all activities for flange-to-flange centrifugal pumps development, including detailed design, calculations and analysis.
• Develop ideas for new centrifugal pumps to expand the BH pumps portfolio.

Role Overview

Partner with the best As Engineering Professional - Mechanical Component, you will work on Pumps in a collaborative environment based on a multidisciplinary team. You will work with scientists and engineers to enhance the technical features of such a product. You will develop the re-design of Flange to Flange BH pumps and introduce new hydraulics and pumps.

Responsibilities

• Perform all activities for Flange to Flange Centrifugal Pumps development, executing all detailed design, calculations and analysis.
• Develop ideas that become real products, for new centrifugal pumps to enhance the current BH pumps portfolio.
• Execute fast prototyping, new design tools introduction, debugging, verification testing and performance characterization of concepts and products.
• Support market research to determine what types of products might be successful among adjacent markets.

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering or relevant demonstrable experience.
• Have good computer skills and be familiar with Unigraphics NX, ANSYS, HYSYS is nice to have.
• Be Fluent in Italian and English.

Compensation

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 31,494 To 51,000. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement related pay.
