TheFork is seeking an experienced engineering leader to guide a distributed team of engineers responsible for our B2C products (web and mobile). You will drive execution, roadmap alignment with product and design, and ensure high-quality deliveries across platforms.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of leadership in distributed teams, strong system design knowledge, and hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, Kotlin/Swift, and RabbitMQ, plus fluent English.

Competenze

• You have coached and mentored 5+ people teams for at least 3 years.
• Experience leading a high-performing technical team in a distributed environment.
• Excellent grasp of system design and modern architecture patterns.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, Kotlin/Swift, and RabbitMQ.
• Strong product acumen and understanding of product principles.
• You are comfortable writing and speaking in English.

Mansioni

• Lead a distributed team of 7+ engineers responsible for the B2C TheFork products (website and mobile apps).
• Own day-to-day execution decisions, ensure on-time delivery and high quality.
• Optimize processes to balance velocity and quality and promote excellence.
• Co-own roadmap planning with product and design partners.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver large-scale initiatives and manage dependencies.
• Participate in the tech strategy and manage the B2C Tribe with peers and architects.
• Ensure the team is motivated and aligned with the wider engineering org.
• Hire, mentor and motivate engineering talent.
• Provide feedback, performance reviews and compensation reviews.
• Leverage AI to enhance development, code quality, and decision making.
