Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager, Identification Accuracy, based in Italy. This high-impact leadership role blends ML, data science, and fraud prevention to guide a distributed, fully remote team.

You will shape the roadmap, mentor engineers, and direct production ML systems at scale, collaborating with product and customer teams to translate business needs into technical priorities. You will drive model quality, data workflows, and MLOps, while communicating trade-offs to executives

Competenze

• 5+ years in software, ML, data science, or related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years leading an ML or data science team in a fast-paced setting.
• Proven experience delivering production ML systems and data pipelines.
• Experience building high-performing multidisciplinary teams and mentoring.
• Strong understanding of ML and data systems with MLOps familiarity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences.
• Authorized to work from Poland; visa sponsorship not available.

Mansioni

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary Identification Accuracy team of ML engineers, data scientists, and analytics engineers.
• Own the team's technical roadmap and collaborate with senior engineering leadership.
• Drive model quality improvements and address complex identification challenges.
• Oversee production ML systems across data pipelines, feature engineering, and deployment.
• Collaborate with platform and API teams on requirements, performance, and latency.
• Translate customer needs into technical initiatives and product improvements.
• Communicate model performance and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and foster psychological safety and high performance.
• Improve engineering and ML practices, including experimentation and MLOps.
