IC Resources is assisting a well-funded client in Bergamo to recruit an ASIC Design Manager for cutting-edge silicon-photonics chips targeting AI/DC markets.

The role leads a multi-disciplinary semiconductor team across digital, analog/mixed-signal, verification, physical design, and applications engineering, with visa sponsorship and relocation available for the right candidate.

Competenze

• Experience leading multi-functional semiconductor teams across digital, analog/mixed-signal, verification, physical design, and applications.
• Background in R&D and semiconductor chip development.
• Experience with new/advanced process technologies preferred.
• Italian and English bilingual abilities; international environment reading.

My client is looking to recruit a new ASIC Design Manager - in the city of Bergamo, located less than an hour from Milan.

The company is (VERY) well-funded, rapidly growing, and has ambitious plans for 2026 and beyond, for their cutting edge Silicon-Photonics chips - targeting the AI / DC market.

The position will be responsible for leading / managing a complex team of Semiconductor professionals - focussing on the development of new cutting-edge integrated material chips.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience managing multi-functional teams - across digital design, analog design / mixed-signal, verification, applications engineering, physical design etc.

Plus ideally have knowledge of more than silicon IP/chip development.

Applicants need to have a confident background in an R&D function.

Previous experience with new / advanced process technologies would be preferred:

Locals / Italian (AND English bilingual) speakers will have an advantage, but as this will be an international working environment, so non-Italian speakers / fluent English only speakers will also be considered.
