Job summary

Exyte is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support projects across Italy and Europe. You will perform quality inspections on Civil, Structural, and Architectural works and ensure compliance with project specs, standards, and CSA-related requirements.

The role requires a civil engineering background or CSA training, proven field inspection experience in data-center or high-tech environments, fluent Italian and strong English, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or CSA training or related field.
• Hands-on construction inspection experience and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience in data-center, high-tech, or complex construction environments.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and CSA plans.
• Advanced knowledge of EU directives and regulations.
• Fluent in Italian and strong English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel within Europe as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Quality Inspections: Perform comprehensive inspections of Civil, Structural, and Architectural works to verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, including discrepancies, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Generate comprehensive reports summarizing inspection results and recommendations for improvement.
• Compliance Assurance: Stay abreast of EU directives, regulations, and standards relevant to CSA systems acc. to the contracted and submitted building permit. Ensure that CSA installation meet the requirements outlined in these directives and standards.

Show your expertise

• Degree in Civil Engineering, or completed training CSA, or a related field.
• Hands‑on construction experience, conducting inspections, evaluating compliance, and implementing corrective actions.
• Proven experience in data‑center, high‑tech, or comparable complex construction environments.
• Thorough understanding of requirements and tasks for CSA works
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, specifications and CSA-related plans
• Advanced knowledge of EU directives and regulations
• Fluent in Italian and very good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel within Europe as required by the project assignments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.

The salary range for this position is between € 33'800 and € 39'000 gross per year (full-time). The exact salary will be determined within this range based on objective and transparent criteria, including role scope, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
