Job summary

Exyte is seeking a QA/QC Engineer (m/f/d) to support projects in Milan. The role involves conducting quality inspections of civil, structural, and architectural works, maintaining inspection records, and ensuring CSA-related compliance with EU directives and permits.

English proficiency is essential, Italian is a plus, with travel across Europe as required. Ideal candidates will hold a Civil Engineering degree or CSA training, possess several years of hands-on construction inspection experience,

Qualifications

• Degree Civil Engineering, or completed CSA training, or a related field.
• Several years of hands-on construction experience, conducting inspections, evaluating compliance, and implementing corrective actions.
• Proven experience in data-center, high-tech, or comparable complex construction environments.
• Thorough understanding of requirements and tasks for CSA works
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, specifications and CSA-related plans
• Advanced knowledge of EU directives and regulations
• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken; Italian language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Europe as required by the project assignments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, including discrepancies, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Generate comprehensive reports summarizing inspection results and recommendations for improvement.
• Compliance Assurance: Stay abreast of EU directives, regulations, and standards relevant to CSA systems acc. to the contracted and submitted building permit. Ensure that CSA installation meet the requirements outlined in these directives and standards.

The salary range for this position is between € 33'800 and € 39'000 gross per year (full-time). The exact salary will be determined within this range based on objective and transparent criteria, including role scope, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
