Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is actively seeking an Energy Marshall to manage the energy isolation program across multiple European datacentre sites.

The role focuses on ensuring safe working conditions and coordinating energy isolation activities from design through to commissioning and operations. You will collaborate with Construction, Commissioning, and Environmental, Health & Safety teams to drive Operational Excellence in Hazardous Energy management, train staff, and manage permits,

Qualifications

• Experience implementing energy isolation programs for construction, commissioning, maintenance, and operations.
• Ability to audit energy isolation procedures and permits to ensure safe work conditions.
• Collaborative approach with construction, commissioning, and EH&S teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the energy isolation program management at the datacentre site(s).
• Coordinate activities related to energy isolation across locations per policies and procedures.
• Lead audits of procedures, permits, and hazard analyses to ensure safe testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Support electrical infrastructure management from large facilities to multi-campus campuses.
• Chair weekly meetings with vendors and the client to review energy isolation progress.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an Energy Marshall to join our team.

You have responsibilities including but not limited to being responsible for the overall energyisolation program management at the site for MEP energy. Accountability to ensure all activitiesrelated to the energy isolation process is coordinated and executed across the assigned location(s)according to established policies and procedures. Performance objectives should also include:

• Ensure safe working conditions have been established by reviewing documentation (including procedures, job hazard analysis, and permits) and auditing the energy program for construction,commissioning, maintenance, and operations activities.
• Work with construction and commissioning teams to ensure safe working conditions to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of MEP systems.
• Support the management of the electrical infrastructures throughout the datacentre campusranging from a single large capacity facility to several smaller ones.
• Partner closely with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to drive Operational Excellence in allaspects of the Control of Hazardous Energy
• Training new and existing employees in defined Energy Isolation process and procedure
• Management of permits/LOTOS and chairing weekly meetings with vendors and the client.
• Management of 20KvA system through to final LV circuits
