S&P Global Ratings in Milan leads European financial institutions analysis and shapes credit risk narratives for banks, insurers, and other financial institutions. As Sector Lead for EMEA Financial Services, you will be the senior analytical voice guiding thought leadership and ensuring consistency across the practice.

You will engage with the ECB and regulators, oversee research priorities, and mentor analysts to elevate sector expertise and credit judgment.

Formación

• 10+ years of relevant experience in credit analysis, financial research, or analytical leadership in financial services.
• Ability to translate complex financial and market developments into concise narratives for investors, regulators, and management.
• Experience coaching analytical teams and building sector expertise and credit judgment.
• English fluent; primary language of the country of application also fluent in other required languages.

Responsabilidades

• Act as primary analytical spokesperson for Continental European financial institutions ecosystem, delivering high-profile presentations.
• Lead research on European banking trends and systemic risk; chair regional committees and set analytical priorities.
• Coach and mentor analysts, strengthening sector expertise and AI-enabled analytical capabilities.
• Lead forward-looking sector analysis translating issuer developments into decision-ready insights.
