Alstom in Italy seeks a Testing & Verification professional to plan and execute SW and data tests in laboratory and on-site environments. You will apply V&V methods, support commissioning and customer acceptance, and work with cross-functional teams across Bologna, Rome or Bari.

The role requires an engineering degree, willingness to travel weekly within Italy, and good English communication. Software development skills are a plus.

Mansioni

• Defining plan of tests, identifying tests to be executed in laboratory and on-site.
• SW/data testing session/process, in cooperation with the other testing engineers from laboratory testing to-site testing.
• Applying the standard V&V methods & tools, configuration & change management processes in accordance to Alstom standards.
• Running and executing the tests for the V&V of the SW and data, delivering the test reports required for the acceptance phase.
• Supporting Testing & Commissioning in the system acceptance phase.
• Supporting Customer acceptance phase (configuring customer laboratory, customer tests support, on-site activities)

Purpose of the job:

• Defining plan of tests, identifying tests to be executed in laboratory and on-site ;
• SW/data testing session/process, in cooperation with the other testing engineers from laboratory testing toon-site testing;
• Applying the standard V&V methods & tools, configuration & change management processes inaccordance to Alstom standards;
• Running and executing the tests for the V&V of the SW and data, delivering the test reports requiredfor the acceptance phace;
• Supporting Testing & Commissioning in the system acceptance phase
• Supporting Customer acceptance phase (confi guration customer laboratory, customer tests support,on-site activities)

Organisational Reporting:

• Direct report line to V&V Team Leader
• Dotted report line to Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) (during project execution)

Network & Links:

• Internal: Project team (Engineering, Safety, RAM, T&C, PrCOM, PrIM, System Engineering team, …)
• External: Suppliers (if any)

We require:

• University Engineering degree in Informatics, Electronics, Automation, IT, Telecom or equivalent
• Strong teamworking attitude
• Availability to perform on field activities on a weekly basis (at Country Italy level)
• Good command of written and spoken english
• Software development skill and attitude is a plus

Job Location:

We can hire in our Sites of Bologna, Rome or Bari.

Salary range:

31.200 € - €41.600 €
