Topcon Positioning Group in Modena, Italy, seeks an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join the Concordia sulla Secchia facility. You will test GNSS products, validate devices, and report results for high-precision positioning applications in construction, geospatial, and agriculture.

The role requires GNSS field experience, a relevant degree, and knowledge of test automation. Hybrid work is available after onboarding, and the team operates in an international environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geomatics, Geodesy, Environmental/Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Geosciences.
• Practical experience operating survey-grade GNSS equipment in the field.
• Solid understanding of core GNSS concepts, positioning methods, error sources, and local coordinate reference systems.
• QA/testing background is a plus, but strong GNSS hardware/field workflow experience suffices.

Mansioni

• Verify, validate, and R&D test GNSS products and related devices.
• Create test reports and maintain test coverage against requirements.
• Use automation tools, analyze results, and support troubleshooting.
• Reproduce and investigate issues reported by users and dealers.
• Work with lab equipment, firmware recovery, modules, SIM cards, and device connections.
