Topcon Positioning Group in Modena, Italy, is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join the Concordia sulla Secchia facility. You will verify GNSS products, run R&D tests, and generate reports while advancing test automation in a collaborative lab environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geomatics/Geodesy or related field (or Italian Geometra diploma) with surveying experience.
• Practical experience operating survey-grade GNSS equipment in the field.
• Solid understanding of GNSS concepts, positioning methods, error sources, and local coordinate reference systems.

Mansioni

• Perform verification, validation and R&D testing on GNSS products and related devices.
• Create test reports and ensure test coverage aligns with product requirements.
• Use automation tools, analyze results and support troubleshooting activities.
• Help reproduce and investigate issues reported by users and dealers.
• Work with lab equipment, firmware recovery, modules, SIM cards and device connections.
