Job summary

RE:LAB is seeking an Embedded C Software Developer to contribute to low-level software for embedded systems. The role focuses on hardware-near development with emphasis on reliability, performance, and efficient resource management.

Based in Reggio Emilia on-site, you will design, implement, and debug components, collaborate with electronics and systems engineers, and help integrate software with peripherals while maintaining high quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering or computer science field.
• Strong knowledge of the C programming language.
• Understanding of memory management and data structures.
• Basic understanding of computer architecture and hardware/software interaction.
• Familiarity with debugging and software development tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in embedded systems and low-level software development.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain low-level software components using C.
• Contribute to the development of software for embedded systems and hardware platforms.
• Support hardware/software integration activities.

• Perform debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and software validation.
