Leonardo SpA in Italy seeks a Test Engineer for the Helicopters Division to lead end-to-end testing of dynamic and structural components. You will plan and execute tests, verify requirements, and ensure safety and quality compliance throughout campaigns.

Responsibilities include developing test rigs, documenting results, and coordinating with Technical Disciplines and external partners, while supporting certification needs in a hybrid work setup.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Knowledge of test engineering principles and laboratory processes.
• Understanding of product lifecycle and development processes.
• Good English communication skills (spoken/written).
• Availability for occasional international travel.

Job Description:Leonardo is an international industrial group and one of the world's leading companies in the Aerospace, Defence, and Security sectors, delivering multi-domain technological capabilities in the fields of Helicopters, Aircraft, Aerostructures, Electronics, Cyber Security, and Space.With more than 60,000 employees worldwide, the company has a strong industrial presence in Italy, the United Kingdom, Poland, and the United States, and operates in 150 countries through subsidiaries, joint ventures, and equity investments.A key player in major strategic programs at the global level, Leonardo is a technology and industrial partner to governments, defence administrations, institutions, and businesses.For Helicopters Division we are looking for a Test Engineer.Activities and ResponsibilitiesPerform end-to-end test engineering activities for dynamic, structural and airframe components and/or subsystems, ensuring successful execution of test campaigns from requirements definition through final reporting.Review, discuss and verify test requirements received through Test Proposals, ensuring completeness, feasibility and alignment with programme objectives and certification needs.Support the design, development and validation of test rigs, benches and associated test setups, coordinating with technical disciplines and laboratory functions.Plan and execute test activities, ensuring compliance with applicable engineering processes, quality standards, safety requirements and programme schedules.Prepare technical reports, test documentation and evidence packages, ensuring traceability, accuracy and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate and interface with key stakeholders including Technical Disciplines, Aircraft System Integration, Product Engineering, Experimental Operations, Transmission & Mechanical Parts CoE, Procurement & Supply Chain, and HSE & Site FacilitiesRequirementsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronic or equivalent technical disciplines.Knowledge of test engineering principles, laboratory processes and verification and validation methodologies for mechanical, dynamic and structural systems.Understanding of engineering development processes and product lifecycle activities.Good knowledge of MS Office applications;
