Leonardo is seeking an Expert-Senior AI Engineer to lead development of computer vision and time series models, with deployment on edge devices and integration into complex product ecosystems. The role emphasizes mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning.
The candidate should have 4–10 years of AI experience, strong Python/C++ skills, and experience with PyTorch, ONNX, and TensorRT. English proficiency is required; Italian is a plus.

Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and time series analysis models, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure that the developed models are optimized and ready for deployment in various environments, particularly on edge devices.
Stay updated with the latest methodologies in machine learning, AI, and data science to keep the company at the forefront of technological advancements.

How does the selection process work?
Following the application collection phase, the CVs that best match the required qualifications will be evaluated and shortlisted.
Selected candidates will take part in an introductory interview with the Human Resources team, focusing on motivation and aptitude, followed by an in-depth technical interview with the relevant Business function.
At the end of the process, all candidates will receive feedback, regardless of whether the outcome is positive or negative.
