ROLE SUMMARY:

Elementary EAL/LS Teaching Assistant – August 2025 Start
The International School of Milan is seeking an experienced Elementary Teaching Assistant with a background in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or Learning Support (LS).

As an IB continuum school (PYP-MYP-DP), we welcome applications from candidates with IB experience, though this is not essential. The role requires a commitment to high standards, innovative teaching approaches, and international understanding. Experience working with EAL and LS students is essential.

Key Requirements:

• Prior experience as an EAL or LS teaching assistant

• Experience across the primary age range (must be clearly indicated in CV and cover letter)

• Passion for inclusive and student-centred learning

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• possession of a relevant university degree;
• recent experience successfully working in a Primary or Elementary setting as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant;

• a high standard of spoken and written English.
• residing in Milan with right to work.
