SSC Space Italy is seeking an Electronic Systems Engineer to lead the electronics design across the lifecycle, translating requirements into board-level engineering and coordinating internal/external teams. You will drive schematic and layout development, prototyping, and testing to ensure performance and compliance.

The role requires ECSS familiarity, experience with embedded systems, and strong communication. Travel across sites may be required; excellent documentation is essential.

Competenze

• Master degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Physics with focus on electronic design.
• Fluent in English (C1+).
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

For one of our customers, SSC Space Italy is seeking for an Electronic Architects Engineer in Milan, Rome or Turin.

Your Qualifications

• You have a Master Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Physics, with explicit focus on electronic design.
• You are fluent in English (C1 and above certification) both listening and reading.
• You have 3 years of experience in similar position.

Specific knowledge

As an Electronic Systems Engineer you will take the technical lead of the system/subsystem electronic aspects for the entire lifecycle of a project. It starts by understanding the customer electronic requirements, translating them into lower board level requirements, and performing a conceptual electronics design.
You will then take care of the technical steering of the electronics design team (internal/external) so that they work according to specification, planning, and cost. You will ensure there is overall technical coherence and will do the follow-up on the electronics design/development team from conceptual design to detailed implementation. You will also make sure that there is proper requirement follow-up and traceability throughout the project by reviewing the board level electronic circuits and assisting the project team during technical reviews.
Finally, you will prepare and participate in system/subsystem electronic functional and performance test campaigns before handing over the system/subsystem (including proper documentation) to the client (internal/external).
