Leonardo SpA in Italy seeks an Electrical Systems engineer to design, verify and support electrical power generation and distribution from concept through flight test and in-service operations.

You will join the Electrical Systems team within the Airframe Engineering Directorate, collaborating on NVIS lighting, power management and subsystem integration with a hybrid working arrangement.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is required.
• Experience with electrical network modelling and simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink/Amesim).
• Knowledge of electrical systems components (machines, inverter, storage).
• Good written and spoken English.

Mansioni

• Define system architecture, design and analysis for electrical systems.
• Capture, derive, validate and verify requirements.
• Prepare technical specs and project documentation.
• Review electrical design and drawings; participate in design reviews.
• Prepare test documentation and conduct integration testing.
• Support aircraft trials and lab testing; qualify equipment and systems.
