DMD Solutions is a consulting company specialized in aerospace design and RAMS engineering, offering project outsourcing and engineering tool development. Our clients are manufacturers and maintainers of aeronautical products located in Europe. We help them achieve their engineering quality goals with a focus on certification.

As part of our expansion plan, we are hiring a System Engineer, an on‑site position at our client premises in Italy. If you have a solid background in aeronautics and want to work on innovative projects, we want you to be part of our team.

As a System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping the team in design, development, testing and documentation of electrical power generation and distribution systems for aerospace applications.

What will I do?

• Technical interface with the customer for weekly meetings and to resolve technical issues.
• Coordination of each work package for the design of electrical generators, distribution boxes and power converters, interacting with the design team (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical and Software).
• Realize, check and deliver all the documents of the Customer Statement of Work.
• Revise and comment documents provided by client suppliers.
• Select and manage client design suppliers, together with the Program Manager.
• Follow the test campaign for the qualification of each part number of the system.
• Speed up the resolution of technical issues, alone or with the help of client specialists.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of aircraft systems.
• Safety and reliability concepts and calculations.
• Development process for aircraft components.
• Design of electrical/electronic components.
• Nice to have knowledge of MIL‑HDBK‑21F or FIDES.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Use of MS Office package.
