AVL Italia is seeking an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to drive electrical design solutions for complex industrial systems. You will support projects from proposal to delivery, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include developing electrical schematics, BOMs, and safety matrices, while coordinating with other disciplines and contributing to tender documentation.

Competenze

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Automation.
• 3–4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of European Directives and electrical standards (Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC; EN ISO 13849-1; EN ISO 60204-1; EN ISO 12100).
• Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 (version 2.8).
• Familiarity with SISTEMA tool for PL calculations.
• Strong command of English (minimum B1).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
• Willingness for short national travel and occasional travel abroad (Europe).

• Collaborate with sales and proposal teams during bidding to identify suitable technical solutions.
• Analyze customer specifications and develop aligned solutions.
• Estimate material costs and required labor resources for projects.
• Prepare technical documentation for manufacturing electrical equipment.
• Develop and manage component lists (BOM) for design activities.
• Prepare tender and bid documentation.
• Produce final project documentation per requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and define safety standards.
