Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd seeks an experienced Electrical Lead for a 6-month contract in Milan, Italy, supporting a rapidly expanding data centre operator. The role focuses on electrical construction, commissioning, and handover of critical power systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and stakeholders, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and driving progress across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced data centre environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical packages on large-scale data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of commissioning, QA/QC, defect resolution and handover processes.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, stakeholders and site activities in fast-paced construction environments.
• Electrical engineering qualification or relevant trade background with expertise in critical power infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical construction, remediation and commissioning activities to ensure safety, on programme and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders, driving progress across multiple workstreams.
• Oversee installation and energisation of switchgear, UPS, transformers, generators and associated cabling.
• Support testing, commissioning, QA/QC processes and final system handover, closing defects and punch-lists.
