ALSTOM Gruppe in Italy invites an Electrical Harness Integration Leader (EHIL) to manage harness installation resources and ensure timely electrical deliveries across baselines, contributing to the project’s success in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires an engineering degree, 5+ years in electrical/electro-mechanical fields, electrical CAD, and proven team leadership in railway environments. Fluent English and Italian are expected; you will work with multi-site teams and external suppliers.

Electrical Harness Integration Leader (EHIL)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• You will manage the Electrical Harness installation resources and activities on the project you are responsible for.
• You will be responsible of the electrical deliveries for each electrical baseline of the project you are contributing to.
• You will bu ild and develop the EHI technical competency in the Team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

• Quality of their delivery (included sub-contractor delivery):
  • 1st time quality rate > 90% (quality rate = modification validated OK / number of modifications applied)
• Respect of the delivery planning (included sub-contractor delivery):
  • 100% on time delivery
• Level of application of standard PPL:
  • 85% of PPL for interface connector and 100% for production break connector.
• Configuration management of your deliverables:
  • 100% of deliverables properly managed into configuration database
• Continuous improvementor Return on Experience (RoE) management from previous projects:
  • zero missing RoE

Accountable for:

• Delivery of the right product at the right moment to the project Train Electrical Engineer, the product consisting into the complete electrical case or a set of electrical deliverablesfor each baseline and retrofit made of :
• Harness Design workload on your project/tender,
• Applying of the Metier rules and processes

Responsible for:

• Delivery of harness 3D models from mechanical integration,
• Managing the EHI QCD of your project,
• Managing the EHI work-load of your project, and effective utilization of Harness designer
• Sub-contracting management (definition, monitoring, acceptance)

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Electronic / Electrotechnical / Electro - Mechanical engineering knowledge
• Electrical CAD experience (at least 3 years)
• Experience in activity and team management (at least 2 years)

• Railway experience
