Prysmian Group seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design across the full project lifecycle for cable manufacturing machinery. You will work on electrical systems, automation, and drives from concept through start-up, coordinating internationally to improve performance and maintainability.

The role combines hands-on design with global collaboration, shaping cutting-edge manufacturing technologies within a global industrial leader. Travel will be required.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering – Power Electronics.
• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in a technical role (technology or manufacturing), preferably in the Industrial sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage inter-departmental and multicultural relations across countries and plants.
• Willingness to travel.

• Define electrical specifications for machinery used in cable manufacturing.
• Design and develop electrical, automation, and control solutions (power electronics, drives).
• Evaluate and select suppliers for electrical panels and automation.
