Wabtec Corporation is seeking an Electrical Commodity Leader to drive strategic sourcing across engineering, NPI sourcing, quality and services in Europe. The role offers exposure to a global supplier base and cross-functional collaboration within the business.

You will identify savings opportunities, optimize supplier panels, and lead negotiations to deliver cost efficiencies while ensuring supply continuity. The position requires 25% travel mainly in Europe and valid EU work authorization.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Commodity Management/Project Buying.
• Strong negotiations and supplier interaction skills; inclusive leadership and ownership on cross-functional projects.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve timely project execution.
• Strong data analytics and presentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously under short timeframes.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time (Europe).
• Authorization to work in the EU.
