Westair Helicopters in Italy seeks an EFB Administrator to manage software and hardware for the EFB system, ensuring maps and documents are up to date and compliant with ENAC approvals.

The role covers device configuration, remote monitoring with MDM Hexnode, testing updates, document uploading, map purchasing and invoicing, and supporting crews with device issues.

This internal vacancy requires meticulous administration and readiness for audits, with close coordination with HR and FOM.

Responsabilidades

• Initial Configuration of the iPads to be used as EFB devices
• Monitor the devices remotely with MDM Hexnode
• Testing and installation of updates of Type A and B applications
• Uploading of documents emailed by the FOM or with his approval
• Testing and installation of the new iPadOS
• Select, purchase and invoice the appropriate maps for the different base locations
• Assist the crews in case of issues on the devices
• Organise the retire of damaged EFBs and deployment of replacement ones
• File the monthly reports and keep track of the devices configuration regarding map installs and expiring dates
• Be available and prepared for audits
