NXP Semiconductors in Catania is seeking a Verification Engineer to join the digital IC design verification team within Industrial & IoT Edge Solutions. The role focuses on creating robust verification environments and test benches using SystemVerilog and UVM to ensure high quality silicon.

You will develop plans, run simulations with Questa, VCS or Xcelium, analyze results, and collaborate with design, architecture and software groups throughout the product cycle.

Competenze

• Master's degree in electronic engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in digital IC design verification.
• Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Experience with industry-standard simulation tools (Questa, VCS, Xcelium).
• Solid understanding of digital design principles and architectures.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Develop and implement verification environments and test benches using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., UVM, SystemVerilog).
• Create detailed verification plans based on design specifications.
• Develop, execute, and debug test cases to verify designs against specifications.
