Job summary

Topcon Positioning Systems is seeking an Earthmoving Application Specialist to join our Professional Services Earth Moving team in Italy. You will support distribution partners and end users across EMEA, delivering training, demos, and hands‑on application expertise.

Based at the Concordia sulla Secchia Modena facility, this hybrid role requires travel up to 70% across EMEA and fluency in English and Italian to train dealers, key accounts and field staff.

Qualifications

• Background in Geodesy, Survey or Civil/Construction Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in survey applications or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction jobsite processes and surveying software.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA and work on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support for earthmoving solutions across EMEA.
• Deliver online and in-person training at Concordia training centre.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare demos, presentations, and eLearning materials.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Marketing.
• Support events and on-site demonstrations from a technical perspective.

Earthmoving & Machine Control Specialist

We are looking for a hands-on, technically minded specialist to support our customers, dealers, and sales teams across EMEA through training, product demonstrations, and technical application support.

What you'll do

• Deliver hands-on training and product demonstrations on machine control and earthmoving solutions.
• Support customers and dealers with technical and application-related challenges.
• Assist Sales and Product teams with pre-sales and post-sales activities.
• Work with advanced GNSS, positioning, and construction technologies.
• Collaborate with international teams and visit customer sites across EMEA.
  
  

What we're looking for

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in machine control, surveying, geomatics, earthmoving, civil construction, or a related technical field. More experienced candidates are also welcome.
• A technical degree or diploma, or equivalent practical experience.
• A solid technical foundation and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Good communication skills and an interest in training and customer interaction.
• Very good English and Italian.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA, potentially up to 70% of the time.

• €50,000–€60,000 gross annual salary + company car.
• Hybrid working: typically 3 days on-site in Concordia and 2 days from home, subject to business needs.
