CNH Industrial is seeking a Driveline System Engineer in Modena to oversee driveline electronic systems from concept to production launch. You will bridge Driveline Electronics with other engineering teams, translating system needs into requirements, diagnostics, monitoring strategies and software specifications.

Hands‑on testing and validation across vehicle and field environments are expected to deepen product understanding.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Vehicle or related field.
• Experience in embedded control systems and powertrain/driveline architectures.
• Experience in requirements engineering and Polarion tooling.
• Knowledge of Model-Based Development (MATLAB/Simulink) and MIL/SIL/HIL methods.
• Experience with CAN-based systems and diagnostic protocols.
• Willingness to travel to plants, suppliers, and field locations; fluent Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Define driveline system architecture, requirements and diagnostics specifications with traceability to software.
• Translate vehicle, mechanical and product team needs into structured specifications (Polarion).
• Develop diagnostics, health monitoring, predictive maintenance and flight recorder requirements.
• Define remote monitoring, telemetry and connected vehicle requirements with cross-team collaboration.
• Support software development and validation, including troubleshooting and testing.
• Define End‑Of‑Line (EOL) requirements and production test strategies for transmission EOL benches.
• Support FMEA and Functional Safety activities per ISO 25119.
