Planate Management Group (PMG) is seeking an experienced Design Architect to support the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC). You will provide architectural design services, coordinate multidisciplinary projects, and ensure designs comply with DoD, Navy, and applicable codes for government construction programs.

The position is contingent on contract award with an anticipated duration of about five years and potential six‑month extension.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture accredited by NAAB or international equivalent with hands‑on facilities design experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of professional, architectural code‑compliant facilities design for new construction and renovation.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English (CEFR C1 preferred, minimum B2).

Mansioni

• Provide architectural design services for new construction and renovation projects in compliance with codes and standards.
• Plan, develop, and coordinate architectural designs for multi‑disciplinary construction projects.
• Review and develop technical drawings, SOWs, and contract modifications.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with related disciplines and assess design impact.
• Apply DoD and Navy design criteria and applicable industry codes.
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, federal laws and host nation requirements.
• Monitor design activities to meet schedule and budget.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations for Government personnel.
• Use design, drafting, analysis, and project management software to deliver design packages.
